Today's Forgotten Oldie

In 1972, Billy Paul went to #1 on the Hot 100 with the song “Me and Mrs, Jones”.  The words of the song clearly let it be known the singer is meeting a married lady every day at a cafe and hooking up.  They both know it’s wrong, but it’s much too strong… and so forth.  The song was Billy Paul’s only number one, but he had a long, successful career right up to his death in 2016, and was well known for his unique approach to the “Philly Sound”.  Today this great song is another forgotten oldie…
