Today a forgotten oldie requested by a faithful listener. The Association was called a sunshine pop band (whatever that is), but captured the public’s ear and churned out numerous hits between 1966 and 1968. Usually six members, the Association was well known for intricate harmonies from their many lead singers. In 1968, a slow-dance anthem titled “Everything That Touches You” reached #10 on the Hot 100, it turned out to be the band’s last top 40 hit, and is today’s forgotten oldie.
