It turns out that mom was right. And she now has the backing of science. Eating your veggies is really good for you, but scientists still don’t know why.  A new study proves that cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and cauliflower can lower your risk of stroke and heart disease. The research is far from conclusive, so if you hate veggies, carry on. I’ll continue to get mine from a can.
