Yes belly fat is bad. But new research shows that the location of your fat is just as important as the amount of it. People who had a normal body mass index, extra belly fat, or central obesity, had a 79% higher risk of heart attack, stroke and death, compared to mildly overweight people with normal fat distribution. So what can you do? The usual. Walk more and make better food decisions. I guess it’s time to give up the ramen.
