PERFORMERS AT SUPER BOWL XLVI (46)

You know about the Madonna halftime show (sort of.) Now here are a few more people getting to perform before the massive Super Bowl audience. Kelly Clarkson, of American Idol fame, will sing the National Anthem. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, of country music fame, will sing America The Beautiful. More than 162 million of us watched last year's Superbowl. 50 million were Packer fans. (maybe I made that up) Here's the story...

PAUL MCCARNEY'S NEW ALBUM "KISSES ON THE BOTTOM!"

Would I Lie? (About the album title) The attached article tells the story behind the title. Paul provides vocals only for this album with famous friends providing some of the instrumentation. OSCAR NOMINEES FOR THE 84TH ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS

The kid's adventure film "Hugo" was the big surprise, leading the way with 11 nominations. Not a surprise were nominees George Clooney in "The Descendents," and Brad Pitt in "Moneyball." NEW MOVIES THIS WEEK!!

I'm looking forward to seeing the new Sherlock Holmes moving starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. This one is titles "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows."

Also, opening this week is "Carnage," with an all star comedy cast including Jodie Foster and Kate Winslet.

And for the general public including kids and grandkids, there is "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip- Wrecked."
