THE 2012 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS WILL FEATURE WHITNEY HOUSTON TRIBUTE!

Whitney Houston will be honored posthumously with the Billboard Millennium Award.  Jordan Sparks and John Legend will perform the tribute.  The 2012 Billboard Awards will be telecast on ABC this Sunday night at 7pm from Las Vegas.  Houston had 7 straight No.1 songs at one point in her career and her version of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You," spent 14 weeks at No.1 in 1993.  Learn more about the awards here...

DICK CLARK DEAD AT 82!!

Dick Clark,legendary host of American Bandstand, his New Year's Eve show on ABC, and Dick Clark's Music Calendar, (heard on many radio stations including the Eagle,) has died at the age of 82.

Clark helped introduce acts from Buddy Holly to Madonna on American Bandstand from 1957 - 1987.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL CONDUCT A TORNADO DRILL IN WISCONSIN AND MINNESOTA, APRIL 19TH AT 1:45PM!!!

Don't be surprised at 1:45pm (on Thursday, April 19th,) by the National Weather Service Tornado drill on the Eagle, and other radio and television stations. You might think an actual Tornado Warning is taking place if you don't listen closely.

AT AGE 49, JAIME MOYER IS THE OLDEST TO EVER WIN A MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL GAME!

He won last night on the mound for the Colorado Rockies as they beat the San Diego Padres 5-3.
