1964 The Zombies record “She’s Not There” at their first session for Decca Records.
1965 Sonny & Cher make their first TV appearance on American Bandstand.
1972 Ronnie Spector left husband Phil and filed for a divorce that would be granted in 1974.
1973 Grand Funk records “We’re An American Band.”
1989 Graceland opens the Elvis Autoland Museum which contains over 20 cars he owned.
2011 Carl Gardner, the lead singer of The Coasters died at the age of 83.
