Is it really worth it? The iPhone X’s thousand-dollar price tag makes it the most expensive off-the-shelf smartphone to date, and according to the testers it’s also the most breakable, too. The company, SquareTrade, puts a host of tech products through their paces, and despite Apple’s claim that its phone’s glass is super-durable, the X didn’t fare too well against every day user carelessness. Thanks to fragile build quality, (probably done on purpose), Apple will charge more than $250 for a new screen, while other repairs could be upwards of $550. Glad I wasn’t one of the many people who fell for Apple’s hype.
