Adequate Sleep = No Weight Gain?

According to a recent study, if you don’t want to gain weight, get adequate sleep. Your internal clock, known as the circadian rhythm, is a 24-hour cycle controlled by the rise and fall of various hormones in the body. One such hormone peaks at 8 a.m., signaling us to wake up. But things like medications, and stress, either physical or emotional can disrupt our clocks, which could cause weight gain. The study was done with mice so take it for what it’s worth. All I know is that if I don’t get at least seven hours of sleep, I’m not gonna be happy.
