San Franciscan Nights

“San Franciscan Nights” is a 1967 hit for the Animals, reaching #1 in Canada, #7 in England, and #9 in the USA.  To me, the band should always be called the “New Animals” at this point in their career, because none of the original British Invasion band remained except for singer Eric Burdon.   All the members of the band contributed to writing the song, written as a protest of the war in Vietnam.  It’s a cliche filled classic, and a forgotten oldie.
