A new study shows that music played in restaurants can affect what you eat. For instance, if Adele, Ed Sheeran, or Van Morrison are playing at a low volume, people will tend to make healthy choices. But if the same music was played at a louder volume, diners were likely to choose food with more calories. Apparently louder music tends to excite a person into making unhealthy choices. The study also found that any music by Yoko Ono made patrons lose their appetites.
