Today we rehash the old argument of how much sleep should you get to stay healthy. And according to a group of cardiologists, the sweet spot is between six and eight hours. More or less than that amount can apparently hurt your heart. Research showed that people who slept less than six hours a night and people who got more than eight hours were at risk of developing or dying from stroke or coronary heart disease. To that end, the “experts” recommend going to bed and getting up at the same time every day, avoiding alcohol and caffeine before bed, eating healthily, and being physically active. So, in other words, do stuff we don’t want to do.
