Enjoy it while you can because a new survey says it takes just a couple of days back at the old grind to make those stress-free moments fade away. 24% of those surveyed said their stress returned the very day they returned to work, while four in 10 were said it took at least a couple of days before stress settled back in. Of course everyone needs time off from work to avoid burnout, but the occasional vacation doesn’t always offset a stressful work environment. Unless factors causing stress can be reduced or eliminating, the benefits of time off can be all for nothing.
