If you find yourself tired at work, you’re not alone. According to a recent survey, 74% of American workers show up to work tired. And that tiredness causes mistakes that cost the U.S. economy more than $410 billion a year. The Accountemps survey also compiled a list of America’s sleepiest cities and Nashville came in at the top. Austin, Denver and Indianapolis tied for #2. Phoenix and Raleigh ranked #5, while Dallas, Detroit, San Francisco, and Boston tied for 8th sleepiest city. By the way, New York City, “The City That Never Sleeps,” New York ranked 14th, tied with St Louis. My personal solution is to drink three to four cups of coffee before work, and drink more when I get to work. Eight to nine hours of sleep every night also helps.
