Snoring Women!

La Crosse, WI, United States / Eagle 102.7

A news study suggests that snoring can negatively affect women more than men. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a severe form of snoring occurs when throat muscles relax and block the airway during sleep, which causes loud snoring. The study suggests OSA may increase risk of heart disease, especially in women. The good news is that treating OSA is possible, through diet and exercise, quitting smoking, drinking less alcohol, and sleeping in ways that will help you breathe more easily.
